Responsibilities:
Support position for photography production
Photo manipulation and color correction in Adobe Photoshop
Maintenance and organization of digital assets
Creation of press-ready documents for all manners of printed materials
Create mockups for use in photos and presentations
Perform additional duties and errands as assigned
Requirements:
Working knowledge of:
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Microsoft Excel
- Mac OS
Good Understanding of Photography Principles (includes basic lighting principles)
Working Knowledge of Digital Photography
Detail Oriented (in files as well as in craft)
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality

Ability to creatively approach and solve problems
Production Designer must be highly organized and able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
Able to perform the following: proofing, preflighting, preparing and press checking files.
They should be familiar with image compression, file correction, and optimization techniques.

Although currently the pay is $12 to $15 per hour, this is a young company with a dynamic environment with a huge potential upside for the right candidate.

Must have an Associates degree in graphic design or one-year equivalent industry experience.
Must have an in depth, working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop in a Macintosh environment. Must know how to use a scanner.
Must have an excellent sense of design, typography and color schemes.
Must be able to work in a technological environment i.e., servers, e-mail, internet, FTP, pdf, etc.
Must be able to maintain and foster a positive and professional attitude.
Must be organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
Must be able to work well within a creative team atmosphere.
Must work 40 hours per week (minimum). Occasional overtime is required.
Ability to type 25+ wpm.

We are looking for someone who can add images to our website (mostly new products, but also updating current photos, as needed), as well as taking new photos of our products (costumes and costume accessories). Tons of experience is not necessary, but there are a few skills that will be needed for this job: Photoshop (must) & Dreamweaver (a plus) . . . mostly for image cleanup and clipping. Work will be performed on a PC (not a Mac). The candidate needs to be Internet savvy and will be uploading costume images to the website using an in-house platform. Some blog/writing work may be involved as well. The candidate must also be a competent photographer, able to take close-ups of products, understand angles and lighting, etc. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative (but no egos or going outside the scope of the position), be energetic, have the ability to follow instructions, be innovative, and detail oriented. NOTE: Please be able to show photography portfolio, as photography is the main responsibility for this position.
