Provo community families, we have an amazing opportunity to provide a once in a life experience for a female exchange student from Norway. Frid, says, “ I am an active, positive and talkative girl who likes to learn and try new things. I have participated in swimming on a competition level for over 10 years, but would like to try new sports in America. I like to get new friends and spend time with them, however family time and gatherings are something I appreciate and love to take part in. I really like dogs and cats, and I have a dog at home.”

Frid is looking forward to getting to know her host family, and spending the school year with a Provo School district family.
Host families come in all shapes and sizes; retired, older children and younger children, single parents. Host families live in apartments and houses and students can share a room with a host sibling if they are of the same gender and close in age. A person can choose to host for a few months or the school year.
If you or anyone you know could open your home to Frid, please let me know as soon as possible. She will be arriving approximately 2 weeks before school starts.
Go to www.ciee.org/host for more information on hosting or ciee.org/hostapply to start your host family application
