First Time New Mom Needs Help (American Fork)

i’ll go by z. my fiance and i moved here from new orleans, LA last december when i was 4 month pregnant. we moved up here to be close to family (as i have none in louisiana, my parents both passed & other relatives live elsewhere) but regardless, to keep the story short, & i am 2 months PP (postpartum) with my first and only son. he is wonderful and the light of my life and i would do anything for him. i had a third degree tear during childbirth and i hemorrhaged. it was scary but i’d do it all over again for him. i’m still not fully healed, i have had stitches and stitches and not to mention 2 surgeries before all that.. now we’re doing silver nitrate treatment which is extremely painful. all of this has been traumatic and has unfortunately stolen a lot of the experiences of my first child from me. i still love him deeply and enjoy every single moment and second it’s obviously not his fault, the doctor used forceps while i should’ve just asked and insisted on a C-section. anyway to make a long story now short, i am asking for any help. donations, whether that’s money, clothes, a high chair, diapers and wipes, toys, teething products, hygiene products, etc. … anything. anything at all. this makes me feel so ashamed but my fiance and i are desperate. we do all we can but our rent is so expensive that it takes my fiancés entire check every time. i can’t work yet so we are a single income household and it is not easy. i’m on SSI but that is once a month and barely enough to cover the rest of our bills. i’m applying for SNAP and other things, i have medicare and i had WIC and medicaid in louisiana, i just have yet to transfer it all here to utah. i hope another mom or dad out there can relate to this and i’m absolutely positive a lot have had it worse. i am blessed but struggling. thank you for taking the time to read, if you did. i appreciate your time and patience.
